Sunrise, Inc. (株式会社サンライズ Kabushiki-gaisha Sanraizu) is a Japanese animation studio and production enterprise. It is a subsidiary of Namco Bandai Holdings. Its former name was Nippon Sunrise, and prior to that, Sunrise Studios. Its headquarters is located in Suginami, Tokyo.

Since the 1970's, Sunrise has became popular thanks to Yoshiyuki Tomino and Hajime Yatate's Gundam series, then there was other shows that gained more popularity, such as Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, My-HiME, My-Otome, Witch Hunter Robin, Escaflowne, Future GPX Cyber Formula, Phi Brain: Puzzle of God and Valvrave: The Liberator. There were also part successful or well-liked shows based on manga and light novel literature such as Accel World, Planetes, Gintama, Outlaw Star and InuYasha.

Because of the fluidity of much of their work, some fans refer to some of their animation as "Sunrise Smooth."

Sunrise is part of the Harmony Unleashed Production Committee to produce and plan the Human Ponidox Continuum Shift media franchise (collaborated with Trigger, Studio 4˚C, Shaft and Production I.G) and the Equestrian Trinity television series with A-1 Pictures.
